Our delivery options have been created to provide the most appropriate delivery method for the part or parts ordered. This means the most cost effective delivery for you, but also providing you with the right courier to ensure that the parts reach you in good condition and in a timely manner.

GB Mainland

Depending on the size and weight of the items you order we offer a number of services, priced as follows.

Smaller Items

Includes bearings, core plugs, valves, valve guides, oil feed pipes, pre-lubes, rocker shafts, thrust pads, tappets, con-rods, oil seals, head bolts, injectors, oil pipes, oil pumps, oil spray jets, piston rings, prechambers, tappet shims, timing belts, vacuum pumps, valve stem seals, water pumps, timing belts kits, timing chain kits.

Economy (Royal Mail 2-3 business days)
Pricing is based upon Royal Mails ‘Large Letter’ size and weight parameters:

Orders placed after 3.30pm, will be processed the following day, adding 1 working day to the delivery service. When selecting ‘Express’ - orders placed after 3.30pm on a Thursday, will be delivered on the next working day which is the following Monday. For orders placed on a non-working day (Saturday or Sunday) please add 1 working day to your delivery date.

Where you order multiple parts the cost of delivery will be the cumulative cost of delivery for each part for the chosen service (economy, standard or express).

No deliveries will be made on Sundays or Bank/Public Holidays.

Same Day Delivery

Out of Area Charges and Delivery Times

Next day delivery services are not available for orders to some out of area postcodes in the UK. A small surcharge may be applied for deliveries to these areas. Please contact us to enquire.

Highlands, Islands & Ireland

Delivery to these areas will incur an extra delivery charge, however we will endeavour to keep the price as competitive and as reasonable as possible. Please call on 0161 406 6991 or send an email to sales@excelengineservices.com to enquire about this service.

Europe

We offer delivery to countries within Europe. Please contact us for the most up to date delivery pricing to your country.

Certain countries may incur further duties and import taxes on top of quoted delivery charges - if unsure please check with your local customs department.

Please Note: due to carriage restrictions, we are unable to ship hazardous chemicals, aerosols or liquid items to Europe. Orders containing such items will be processed without the restricted items.

No deliveries will be made on Sundays or Bank/Public Holidays.

Rest of World

If you are outside of Europe, please don't worry as we can still help you!

We endeavour to despatch all international parcels using the most cost effective methods, we'll use a number of couriers to find you the best deal. Please call our export team on +44 161 406 6991, and they will be happy to help with your enquiry and quote to export outside of the UK.

Further Information

Bank / Public Holidays

No deliveries can be made on Bank/Public Holidays. Any deliveries scheduled to arrive on a Bank/Public Holiday will be delivered the following working day. In addition, our warehouse is closed on Bank/Public Holidays so orders placed on these days will not be despatched until the following working day.

Stock Indication

If an item is available for purchase there should be good stock levels of it at our Warehouse and it should be available for immediate despatch in our normal delivery timescales. However our stock status shown on our website is updated every 24 hours and actual stock at our warehouse may vary to that shown on the site.

Should you order an item that shows as available but it has indeed become out of stock, we will endeavour to contact you as soon as possible and inform you of the date that we expect the item to become available.

Products that are not available at point of order

In some cases you may find that an item you wish to purchase as part of your order is not available. At this point you have two options:

  • Place the order on hold until all items are available and deliver your order all at once
  • Ship available items at point of order and send the unavailable item(s) separately when it becomes available, however this method may incur separate shipping charges for each item despatched.

More about Delivery

In the unlikely event of your product being lost or damaged in transit, claims must be made in writing. In the case of non-delivery, please wait 10 days in case it has been delayed. Damaged goods must be retained in case we need to arrange for inspection.

Please ensure you are available to sign for your parcel as this will not be left without a signature. If you are not there to receive your delivery, please follow the instructions on the card that will be left to rearrange your delivery.

Once your parcel has been attempted for delivery twice and a third has been unsuccessful after a 3rd attempt has been made we reserve the right to levy an additional charge to re-arrange a further delivery. Any additional instructions to the carrier must be agreed by Excel Engine Services.
