Remanufactured Engines & Engine Fitting
We are professional engine remanufacturers supplying remanufactured engines, short motors and cylinder heads throughout the UK and Europe.
This means that where it is more cost effective to replace rather than repair the engine, we can provide you with a remanufactured engine from stock that we have remanufactured ourselves in-house to a high standard.
Remanufactured vs Reconditioned
The engines that we provide are ‘remanufactured’, not ‘reconditioned’.
‘Remanufactured’ and ‘reconditioned’ are sometimes used interchangeably in the motor industry but actually have quite distinct meanings.
A reconditioned engine is one that has been stripped down either partially or fully, cleaned and possibly had some damaged components replaced prior to being rebuilt.

A remanufactured engine, on the other hand, will have had far more extensive work carried out to it. It will have been stripped completely and fully cleaned, like the reconditioned engine, but then all parts will be tested for damage and the engine rebuilt using new pistons, piston rings, gaskets, oil seals, engine bearings, oil pump, timing chain kit / timing belt kit. All relevant machining will have been carried out to the engine such as to the cylinder head and cylinder block. The cylinder head is fully remanufactured, the cylinder block is re-bored and honed, and the crankshaft is machined / reground.
Remanufactured engines cost more than reconditioned engines, which reflects the level of work and skill that has gone in to producing the remanufactured engine.
Our remanufacturing is carried out to a high standard in our own workshop using the latest brand leading machinery including Serdi, Berco, Scledum and Kwik-Way. This enables us to provide total accuracy and a quality finish at all times.
In addition we use only the highest quality branded parts (to OEM specification) and genuine manufacturer parts, in the remanufacturing process.
Van Engine Fitting
When we fit the replacement engine for you we check all the ancillary parts and inform you of their condition; parts such as the diesel injection system, injectors, turbo, water pump, clutch, etc.

Nationwide vehicle collection service - we can collect from you wherever you are in the country.
Additional Mechanical Services
Other services we offer are regular servicing, oil and filter servicing, diagnostics, brakes, clutches, head gasket replacement, timing chain replacement, etc.

All types of vans and commercial vehicles are catered for. We mainly get to work on Ford Transits, Citroen Relays, Ducatos, Boxers, Sprinters and Vivaros, because they are the majority of the vans currently out on the roads.
